Portreath

Following the success of the Burleigh project, we were retained to progress a series of planning applications for two existing units at North Coast Holiday Cottages.

The initial application sought the removal of the existing holiday-occupancy restriction, the retention of an extension, and the change of use of former annexe accommodation to create two holiday lets. Planning approval was secured in 2018.

Later that year, we obtained further approval for first-floor and two-storey rear extensions, new balconies, and internal alterations to create spacious, modern accommodation.



In 2020, a further application was submitted to reposition the extended dwellings within the hillside site to maximise the far-reaching coastal views. Although initially refused, the decision was successfully overturned at appeal in November 2020.
