Tower House

Redruth

The sensitive conversion and refurbishment of a prominent 1890s building at the gateway to Redruth town centre.

The project included the complete renovation of three existing ground-floor retail units, together with the creation of a new entrance providing independent access to the upper floors. Previously used as storage, the first and second floors had stood vacant for more than 40 years and required extensive repair and upgrading.

Structural works were carefully undertaken to safeguard the building’s historic façade, while the internal accommodation was redesigned to create a collection of one-bedroom and studio apartments.

The completed scheme has brought this once-flagship building back into active use, combining restored commercial premises with much-needed residential accommodation in the heart of the town.
